Hardy annual heirloom. Certified organic. This leaf lettuce has large loose, light-green, lightly crumpled leaves. It is a popular standard among green-leaf lettuces. The plant is large and upright, and is very slow to bolt. It withstands heat, drought, and frost. Likes full sun, except in the hot part of summer. Start seeds indoors 4 weeks before transplanting outside, or sow directly in outdoor beds after last frost. Plant every two weeks for continuous harvest through fall. 6 to 10 inches tall. 40 days to maturity. 100 seeds per regular packet. 15 seeds in sample packet.

A hardy open-pollinated annual. Certified organic! This bibb type head lettuce has a compact yellow-white heart. It grows dark green, red tinged, thick, tender, richly flavored leaves in loose 4 inche rosettes. This heat resistant variety is long lastying, bolt resistant, and free of mosaic disease. Make successive plantings every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. In mild climates, lettuce can be sown from spring through fall. Lettuce is a good souce of vitamin A. Hardy annual heirloom. Certified organic. This romaine lettuce, also called Cimmaron, is an extremely beautiful 1800s European heirloom. Its large, flat, broad leaves are sweet with a buttery texture. The color varies from green to bronze to deep red. Grows quickly andis heat and cold resistant. Likes full sun except in mid-summer.
