A Danish heirloom introduced in 1909. Solid heads reach 6-8″ in diameter, weigh 3-4 pounds, and rarely burst. Medium-sized plants are ideal for small gardens. Start indoors six weeks before last frost.  70 days from transplant.  Make sure cabbage plants have a regular supply of water.  Good keeper.  Approx 25 seeds per regular packet. 5 seeds in sample packet.

Biennial open-pollinated variety.  Certified organic!  Express Red’s uniform heads grow to approximately 3-4 lb. on a compact frame with few outer leaves. This early variety is relatively split resistant and stores well. Delicious when raw or cooked. Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost and then transplant to outdoor garden beds.  Cabbage is high in vitamin C, folate, and   55 days to maturity.  30 seeds in regular packet. 5 seeds in sample packet.

Popular early open-pollinated variety.  Certified organic!  Compact round heads store better than most early cabbages.  Can be used raw or cooked. Heads are deep red and 6 to 7 inches in diameter. Start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost, then transplant to outdoor beds.  80 days to maturity.  60 seeds per regular packet. 5 seeds in sample packet.
